Message from the CMCS Director
Calling All Catholic Men!
The Annual Chicago Southland Catholic Men's Breakfast and Forum, taking place on Saturday, April 6th, 2024, serves as the flagship event for the CMCS mission. This event brings together local Catholic men to engage in meaningful discussions and share their experiences on our motto of "Living the Goodness of a Catholic Man". It is a platform for men to form meaningful connections, learn from each other, and strengthen their faith.

This CMCS email list, and the blog and video channel, serve as a means to bridge the gap between these annual events, providing a continuous stream of resources and information for men to reflect upon and apply to their daily lives. The goal is to have every man who receives this message attend or support these endeavors, for a truly impactful and transformative experience.  Event tickets are limited to about 100 men to best facilitate the forum discussion.

This year, a CMCS-Man has once again shown his generosity by offering a grant to match all Lenten Almsgiving donations up to $1,200.00. More than half of this has already been matched by another donor, so your bringing this appeal to completion will provide almost the annual CMCS budget!

This is a great opportunity for those who are unable to attend the event, to still contribute and support the attendance of clergy, seminarian's, and other men who may be facing financial hardships, as well as functioning this apostolate. Simply go to tickets24.cmcsmen.net to make your donation. As we have said in the past, if every man reading this could send a gift of just $1.00, CMCS would be able to sustain its operations for an entire year and past this appeal. So let us come together and show our support for CMCS and the important work it does in our local Catholic community.

Again, join us at the highly anticipated Chicago Southland Catholic Men's Breakfast and Forum! Mark your calendars and extend the invitation to your fellow men in your parish and family. Don't miss out on this enriching event. Secure your spot at tickets24.cmcsmen.net  Our tickets are reasonably priced, making it accessible for all men to indulge in a delicious hot breakfast buffet and engage in thought-provoking discussions. Thanks to our incredible donors, we are able to offer these tickets at a cost that won't break the bank. Don't wait any longer, register now and be a part of this unforgettable experience.

We are passionate and proud about our mission to serve Catholic men in the Chicago Southland community. Our focus is not on making money, but rather on carrying out our apostolate in an ethical and sustainable manner. As with any organization, there are expenses that need to be covered in order to continue our work. However, we are committed to remaining debt-free and ensuring that the funds we receive are used effectively to benefit our community.

We are grateful for the sacrifices that our members make to support us and for the feedback they provide on how much CMCS means to them. With their continued support, we will strive to make a positive impact on the lives of Catholic men in our community.
Keeping you and your family, and your Lenten journey, in my prayers,

Frank J Casella,
CMCS Co-founder & Executive Director
